Person-Centered Care for Alzheimer's and Other Dementias

Person-Centered Care Training for Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias by Home Instead is recognized by the Alzheimer's Association® for incorporating the evidenced-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations in the following topic areas: Alzheimer's and dementia, person-centered care, assessment, and care planning, activities of daily living, and behaviors and communication.

CAREGivers who successful complete this course will be eligible to take the Alzheimer's Association essentiALZ exam to become certified in person-centered care. 

Requirements:  Required to be taken every 2 years during employment with Home Instead. 

This is an in-person training in the Warwick office. Due to COVID-19 restictions, registration is limited to 5 CAREGivers.
