Winter 2024 Updates

Communication is Key:

We want to hear from you! ALL changes of condition, falls, medical events, and requests for schedule changes must be CALLED INTO THE OFFICE by the end of your shift with the affected client. Reports must be made regardless of day or time of the shift. A staff member is always available to take your call and inform the appropriate parties. Failure to make appropriate reports to the office in a timely manner will result in corrective action.

COVID-19, Influenza, and Illness

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home tests. Visit to get your free COVID test.

All illness symptoms should be reported to the office as soon as possible. Please speak to a team member if you are experiencing:

  • fever or chills

  • cough

  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • muscle pain or body aches

  • sore throat or cough

  • headache

  • loss of taste or smell

  • If you are exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive

  • If you are experiencing symptoms but are not testing positive

  • If you learn of an exposure or positive case within your Client's family or facility setting

A rapid COVID-19 test may be required for shift attendance. When you take a test, please take a photo of your results and email it to:

Office Staff Updates!

"“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” -Dan Millman

We are excited to welcome a couple of new office team members: Katelyn in staffing and Courtney in Engagement.

Katelyn Loyo, Staffing Coordinator

Katelyn is the new voice on the phone in staffing. She brings experience in health care administration, patient advocacy, and wonderful energy to the Home Instead team. When Katelyn is not assisting clients and care pros, she is working on her Nursing degree.

Courtney Maxwell, Recruiter brings a great deal of recruitment and human resource experience to Home Instead. She has been successful in connecting people with their next career adventure and is grateful to be a part of that journey with them. Courtney enjoys traveling, board games, and spending time with family and friends.
