Virtual Meeting Notes and Video

Dear CAREGivers and CNAs

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who had a chance to participate in either one of our virtual meetings last week. It was so nice to see you all, even if just on a small screen. For those who were unable to join us, please note that we posted a recording of the Zoom meeting here: https://youtu.be/dH3iYggRtIw

I also wanted to summarize the key points of the presentation below.

- First of all, THANK YOU for your dedication and for continuing to support your clients during this time of even higher need than usual. We know that there is a lot of uncertainly out there and we are working hard to provide some certainty and security for you. Workplace security (trying to keep everyone safe) as well as Financial security.

- Workplace security

o We continue to source and provide PPE as this is our best defense against the virus

o We are working to reduce exposure by reducing team sizes and number of clients you all have

- Financial security

o We chose to offer sick leave and FMLA+ benefits under the FFCRA and a number of you have accessed these benefits with us.

o During May and June, we plan to continue these benefits beyond the 14 days required by the FFCRA law for those eligible

o Also, during May and June, we will be providing Heroes Hours to all who are able to work, as follows:

  • If you work MORE than 30 hrs/wk, you get an additional 12 hours of pay/wk

  • If you work between 20 and 29 hrs/wk, you get an additional 9 hours of pay/wk

  • If you work between 10 and 19 hrs/wk, you get an additional 6 hours of pay/wk

  • If you work LESS than 9 hrs/wk, you get an additional 3 hours of pay/wk

Thank you again for being there for your clients during these challenging times. We appreciate your dedication and hard work.

Take care

Cris
